Please note that our rugs do come with rubber backings designed to prevent slippage but we highly recommend investing in a rug pad for your rug. A rug pad serves multiple purposes, including preventing slipping, enhancing the durability of your rug, and providing a softer feel. If you have pets, rest assured that our rug pads are pet-friendly. We suggest selecting a rug pad that is slightly larger than your rug, as any visible parts of the pad can be gently trimmed to fit accurately. Alternatively, if you prefer not to trim the rug pad, we suggest opting for a slightly smaller size than the rug.

Please note that our rug pads are not suitable for machine washing.

While it is possible to utilize the rug pads outdoors, please be aware that doing so may reduce the anticipated lifespan of the product.

Our natural products, such as cotton and wool rugs, are not treated with flame retardants. The inherent properties of cotton, wool, and jute make them naturally fire-resistant. In the case of a wool rug, it will not ignite or cause a fire if burned; instead, its threads will char and then self-extinguish. Any charred threads can be easily remedied by gently trimming and brushing the affected area.

We do not endorse the use of carpet tape. For those seeking to prevent rug slippage and achieve a smooth, wave-free appearance, we recommend considering the purchase of our rug pads.

Our washable area rugs are designed to be relatively thinner. To prevent slipping and enhance the comfort of these rugs, we suggest using rug pads.

Regrettably, we do not offer rug samples at this time.

To create an ideal fit under a king-size bed, we recommend opting for a rug size of 9' x 12'. This size generally works best to provide ample coverage and complement the dimensions of the bed. 8x10 would be a great option for a queen size bed.

Our rugs are typically shipped in a rolled-up format. In certain cases, for exceptionally large items, there may be a need to fold them for shipping purposes. However, this is a rare occurrence and not commonly encountered.

For an optimal dining room rug placement under your table, it is recommended to have a rug that extends approximately four feet beyond the dimensions of your table. This allows for 18 to 24 inches of rug space on each side, ensuring that you and your guests can comfortably slide chairs out without concerns of the chairs slipping off the rug's edge. A rug that is too small can lead to chair scratching the floor, entanglement with the rug's edge, and discomfort, as well as frustration when attempting to slide the chair back in place.

Then, add an extra 36 to 48 inches to each measurement, taking into account any extension leaves used to expand your table.
